PM e-Vidya is a flagship digital education initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, launched to ensure continuity of learning through multiple digital modes. One of its key components is the PM e-Vidya DTH TV Channels, which provide curriculum-based educational content through dedicated television channels.
The DTH channels cater to students and offer subject-specific lessons, recorded lectures, and educational programmes aligned with the school curriculum. The initiative helps bridge the digital divide by reaching learners who may have limited or no access to internet-based learning resources.
For Assam, five DTH TV channels have been allocated. These channels can be accessed through their official YouTube channels.
